Instructions for Record Book Completion and Scoring
My 4-H Year
- Complete one per year, per youth member (ages 8+), regardless of how many projects youth enroll in
- Needs to be signed by Club Leaderor parent helper (if Member at Large)PRIORto Record Book turn-in in June
Non-Animal Project Journal & Financial Record
- Complete one per project, per year, per youth (ages 8+)
- Record any goals & activities directly related to your project (expenses, materials, meetings attended)
- Will be signed by that Project Leader AFTER it is reviewed/scored by the Leader upon Record Book turn-in in June
Animal Project Journal & Financial Record
- Complete one per project, per year, per youth (ages 8+)
- Record any goals & activities directly related to your project (expenses, feeding, weights workhops attended)
- Will be signed by that Project Leader AFTER it is reviewed/scored by the Leader upon Record Book turn-in in June
Project Curriculum Books
- Complete 7 activities per year per project
- Learning activites done at home or during meetings
- Contact Office or Leader for specific instructions
Gallatin 4-H/FFA Grievance Form

Return completed form within 7 days of the incident or within 12-24 hours if the incident occurred during Fair Week. Submit to Gallatin County 4-H Office gallatin4h@montana.edu
