Announcing MSU’s new Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) Freezer Sustainability Program

Research Integrity & Compliance (RIC) is proud to announce MSU’s new Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) Freezer Sustainability Program. This program aims to reduce the electrical waste and costs associated with older, non-energy efficient ULT freezers. The Office of Sustainability and the RIC have worked together to create a program that offers incentives in the form of cash rebates when:

- start-up laboratories purchase a new energy-efficient UTL freezer, or

- existing laboratories replace and recycle an older ULT freezer.
