The Office of Research Development (ORD) offers a suite of comprehensive services aimed at stimulating scholarly and creative activities, increasing the success of research funding proposals, and enhancing research collaborations within and beyond MSU.Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) works in collaboration with the other Research Services groups to support the growth of faculty in achieving excellence research/creativity/scholarship, including support for mentoring, scholarly writing, and work-life balance. The MSU Library provides research visibility and publishing support, data archiving and sharing, and research projects in support of open knowledge for all.Research Cyberinfrastructure (RCI) provides centralized support, systems, and services for IT specific to research. This includes the areas of high-performance computing (HPC), virtual machine hosting, large scale storage, high-performance networking and data transfer, and consulting on technology budgets and implementation for grants, along with support for IT components of major research instrumentation, software, and specialized or unique research technology needs.
