Suspension Appeals Process
To return from suspension, you will need to do two things.
- Complete the Suspension Appeal Cover Sheet and Documentation.
- Contact the Assistant/Associate Dean of the College in which your program resides.
In some cases, this contact person may be a Student Success Coordinator or someone
else appointed by the college.

After your suspension appeal is submitted to the appropriate Assistant/Associate Dean's office it will be provided to the Appeals Board for review, evaluation and decision. The decision will be provided to the Assistant Dean, AYCSS, and the Registrar. Students will be contacted through navMSU by email and letter to learn the appeal decision.
Early decision deadline: June XX, 2026 - TBD
Standard decision deadline: August XX, 2026 - TBD
Note: Students must meet with their Assistant/Associate Dean and complete the Suspension Appeal Coversheet and Documentation by the above deadlines to have their appeal considered by the University Scholastic Appeals Board.
