Dr. Jennifer Luebeck is a Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. She has deep roots in Montana and three decades of experience preparing and supporting K-12 mathematics teachers. Her commitment to rural education is evidenced through a scholarship agenda that explores online learning, innovative models of professional development, and rural teacher mentoring. She has been awarded over $9 million in state and federal funding to enhance mathematics teaching and learning in Montana, particularly in rural districts.
 
Dr. Luebeck is currently a CRRE Faculty Scholar, co-PI for the ASPIRE project, and director of the statewide MentorMT program. In that role she is responsible for design, development, and delivery of a unique remote mentoring model that has been affirmed by state organizations, agencies, and legislators. Recognition of her work at MSU includes awards for Excellence in Outreach (2009), Meritorious Research and Creativity (2020), and Exemplary Service to the Land Grant Mission (2021).
