Hello! My name is Anika Witsoe and I am from Cordova, Alaska. I graduated from MSU with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Horticulture, yes, I love plants. I am currently working on my master’s degree in Structural Engineering. Outside of class, I enjoy fishing, hiking, gardening, and tying flies. Year round, I coach freeride skiing for BSF, test skiing products, and help run the Freeriders of MSU club. Hi everyone! My name is Haider Sherazi, and I'm a PhD student researching centrifuge testing and numerical modeling of permafrost and frozen soil properties. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and running. I'm really excited to see you at the EMLC this semester and help you navigate Mechanics of Materials. My name is Shahriar Khorami. I’ve been studying Civil Engineering at MSU for about three years as a PhD student in Geotechnical Engineering. I also hold a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering. Logan is from outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and two minors in history and wildlife & fisheries science. Between graduating from Penn State and starting at MSU, Logan worked as a trout biologist for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Logan will be furthering his education at MSU, working toward a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering. As a graduate student, Logan will be a Teaching Assistant in the Engineering Mechanics Learning Center (EMLC) as well as assisting in research on fish passage. Outside of school, Logan spends most of his time outdoors, hiking, fly fishing, playing soccer, or camping.

Hey, my name is James. I am a Senior in mechanical engineering. I have been doing research here on campus through the Fluids and Computations laboratory, with a focus on CFD and heat transfer. Outside of school, I spend my time fishing, golfing, skiing, or just enjoying the Montana outdoors! I’m excited to see you all in the EMLC if you need any help with classes!
