    Montana State University defeated Illinois State University Jan. 5, 2026, to claim their first national title since 1984.

Announcements

Volunteers are needed for the Montana Science Olympiad held Feb. 19.

MSU's Union Market in the SUB is now open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MSU Academic Technology & Outreach is seeking instructors for the 2026 Peaks and Potentials summer camp to be held June 15-19. MSU faculty, staff and grad students are invited to submit an application by Friday, Feb. 27.

Union Market, Norm's Cafe, Brewed Awakening and SRO are offering a special discount for unlimited drip coffee and fountain soda through the Spring 2026 semester.

Cats Cantina in the SUB is running a taco giveaway, open for entries through Jan. 30.

The MSU Science Day and Science Night events are seeking volunteers to run activity stations and demonstrations on Feb. 5.
