Study Abroad Advising
We're excited that you're interested in studying abroad! We look forward to working with you through the different steps of your study abroad experience.
**We no longer offer drop-in advising. Please make sure that you review the information below carefully.**
To learn more about programs and the application process, please complete our online advising course, Study Abroad 101. The course should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. At the end of Study Abroad 101, you will receive instructions for starting an application and a link to schedule an in-person advising session if you have more questions.
If you would like to study abroad in spring 2027 and you attended an advising session last school year or over the summer, please email studyabroad@montana.edu.
Special note for faculty-led programs: If you know that you would like to apply for a faculty-led program, it is not necessary to complete Study Abroad 101. Please refer to the list of faculty-led programs [Link] and the page for the specific program you are interested in for more information.
