I.            Call to Order 

a.      Meeting was called to order at 3:16pm.

 

II.            Approval of FS Minutes from April 17, 2024

a.      Chris Posbergh moves to approve. Michael Walach seconds. Minutes are approved. 

 

III.            FYI Items 

a.      SmartBuy rollout has been postponed. For those of you who missed the training, the following information will be on the SmartBuy website: https://www.montana.edu/ubs/smartbuymsu/

i.      May 10th at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse 

1.      10:00am Ceremony (processional begins at 9:40am) 

A.      Note: “We are no longer asking for RSVP for the ceremonies. If you plan to attend the morning ceremony, please arrive in full regalia by 9:25am in the North Tunnel of the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse”

i.      Clarifying we are only moving courses forward, not programs or program changes. 

1.      One opposed. One abstention. Motion passes.

b.      Colter thanks Stephanie McCalla.

a.      Provost Mokwa: Thank you for your work on this senate. We wouldn’t have shared governance on campus without you. Thank you to Colter and Stephanie for the way you support and represent faculty.
