Faculty Excellence Grants
The Provost and the Center for Faculty Excellence are pleased to announce the Faculty Excellence Grants (FEG) Program. These grants, providing up to $5,000, are designed to support faculty across all disciplines in enhancing their scholarly work.
To support the faculty grant writing process, we have made changes to the program for FY2027.
- Expanded Eligibility: Tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-track faculty with a scholarship component in their appointment are now eligible.
- Revised Guidelines: We updated the Guidelines and Application Template to align more closely with our evaluation criteria, including allowing faculty summer salary in the budget.
- Updated Review Process: We have updated the review process so that we will provide feedback to all applicants starting this cycle.
To better support your research timeline, we accept applications during two cycles:
-
Spring Cycle (Round 1): Applications open in February and are due in March. Selected projects receive funding in July and must be completed by June 30 of the following year.
-
Fall Cycle (Round 2): Applications open in September and are due in November. Selected projects receive funding in December and must be completed by June 30 (~6 months).
