The Notes feature in Degree Works allows advisors and authorized staff to document advising conversations and other important information related to a student's academic progress. Notes provide a shared record of student interactions, helping support consistent advising while allowing users to create, edit, and view notes based on their access permissions.

Degree Works notes arepart of the student's educational record and are visible to the student and authorized university personnel. All notes should be professional, academically relevant, and FERPA compliant. Only document information related to advising, registration, curriculum, graduation, or other educational matters.
